Charles Kriel was born in the back of a circus wagon and grew up crisscrossing America with his carny family. He is the former Special Advisor to the UK House of Commons Select Committee on Fake News, investigating Cambridge Analytica and Facebook. He frequently works to support free press and counter radicalisation in conflict zones. He’s the author of several books and an award-winning composer. His first work in film was as an AV artist creating sound and visual performances for international museums and galleries, and the BBC.
